By far the best Doctor Ive had for several reasons. He actually listens when you talk. He asks questions to make sure he understands completely. He figures out the best treatment that aligns with your wishes and advocates for you as a patient. He does all this while efficiently charting everything and having prescriptions or orders ready before you leave. The office staff is also amazing. I had requested 5 referrals and I had all of them by the next day. Super impressive.
He is caring and compassionate. He takes his time explaining things and going over the projection for treatment. It’s hard to find a doctor that makes you feel like they care and the fact is I believe he truly does.
Dr. couture has an excellent caring manner, always available when needed and provides excellent and knowledgeable care.

Dr. Couture is so helpful and does everything in his power to take care of his patients! I'm so thankful that he takes VA healthcare and he genuinely cares for each and every patient! The front office staff was very sweet and I was in and out with everything I needed within an hour of my appointment time! Thank you so much for the great service!

Dr. Couture had been my primary care doctor for about 17 years. He has seen me through several major illnesses and had always communicated clearly and answered all my questions. He has a very friendly knowledgeable staff who are polite friendly and respond to request for assistance promptly weather it's a refill prescription order, a referral to specialist or making a new appointment. I have the highest regard for Dr. Shawn Couture..He has provided me with the very best of care. Highly recommend him to friends and family.
When I first saw Dr Couture he was very nice, but once I became an established patient he ignored me. I never once asked for a controlled substance. His staff is quite rude too. He is not a friendly doctor.
The poster from August 16 had a similar experience. At first, I thought this guy was great, very kind etc. But he never came through when I needed him to. I've never asked him for a controlled substance either.
