Destiny and I met before I became her apprentice, at a yoga retreat in northern Utah. I was really inspired by her knowledge, and learned then what a doula was. I knew instantly I wanted to pursue a career in birthwork. She is the reason I found this work, and the person who single handedly helped me launch my career. I couldn’t recommend her Mentorship enough.

Destiny is an amazing mentor and doula. Her range of experience creates an impactful relationship. She’s like a human encyclopedia on all things body and childbirth. I was destiny’s apprentice for 9 months and learned so much about how I wanted to conduct my own doula practice. There are no words to express the value that Destiny added to our pregnancy/birth/postpartum experience (this was our first) & hiring her was one of the best decisions we made. She eased our anxiety and educated us during my pregnancy, aided in more ways than I can count during labor/birth, and has been incredibly helpful in our post-birth life. Not to mention, she supported and championed all aspects of the type of birth we desired! I cannot recommend her enough… if we choose to have a second child- she’s our first call.

Words cannot express the impact Destiny had on my overall birth experience. She gave me the warmth, courage, and confidence to explore all labor and delivery options and supported my decision whole-heartedly when I decided to change my birth plan (and provider!) at 40 weeks. She listened to my fears and provided tools for me to increase my level of knowledge and comfort.
