I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Anal Cancer with metastasis to the liver in November 2020. My initial treatment included chemo and radiation therapy. My scans were excellent following treatment and the following 15 months. In July 2022, my scans revealed that a lesion was detected in the same area of my liver. Dr. McKenzie literally saved my life. I have a rare cancer, it is called cholangiocarcinoma, not much information about it, very scary prognosis when you google it. Dr. McKenzie was always informative and caring during the whole process ( pre surgery, surgery and post surgery). His whole team are great (office and hospital), always prompt to help and maintain an effective communication with Dr. McKenzie.
