This review is an apology to Dr. Shashy. I am power of attorney for my uncle. A few weeks ago he had a lengthy stay in the hospital. I was very frustated because there were issues with the medical staff understanding to communicate with me not him about his care. I received a link asking for a review on Dr. Shashy. I love Dr. Shashy's bedsides manners. He is very professional. I am so grateful to God for him. I went in for one thing and he found something else that is going on with me. Dr. Shashy talked to me and he made sure that I understood what was going on with me and what had to be done in order to correct the problem. He was patient with me, he allowed me to ask questions of which he explained to me very clearly. Dr. Shashy listened to me, he took him time with me and didn't rush in and out. Diagnosed me and treated me for prostate cancer. He caught it early and I am ever so grateful. Dr. Shashy and his staff are kind and listen. I never feel rushed, and I am always confident he is looking out for my best health.
Gave my father BCG treatment for so called bladder cancer without allowing him to get a second opinion even after biopsy, cause if he did get one he didn't want to see him back in his office cause it meant he didn't trust his word. Well, a second opinion is worth a person's LIFE. But not per Dr Shashy. So my father had 3 BCG treatments which got rid of the so called cancer.
