Do NOT go to Dr Ebrahimi. As a doctor myself, I am blown away with how I was treated for simply asking a question. Being pregnant & history of iron deficiency in the past, I ran additional iron panel at my own clinic which came back abnormally low (my ferritin was at 5 - which puts my growing baby at risk, increase risk of preterm labor, along with poor post partum recovery). Not really sure where to go with this! I'm still upset years after leaving Sharp Rees Stealy in Sorrento Mesa. I brought attention to the lab manager about lab technician protocol which resulted in my high potassium readings. This was consistent for years and the doctors treated me accordingly! I even modified my diet stoppedeating healthy foods trying to satisfy the inaccurate lab results especially for potassium. Was seen quickly for walk in lab. Facility is clean. Staff is friendly.
I took my mother for her lab work today, 03/14/2025 at around 12 noon. Tammy, the person who assisted with my mother’s blood draw appeared impatient and frustrated. As I watched her with the blood draw, she appeared like she didn’t look for a good site to draw but went ahead and stuck my mother with the syringe then claiming she missed the vein because my mother stated she would rather have the butterfly method than the regular needle.
