On 12/8/2025, Lindsey, the blond curly hair female, checked us in for my mother's mammogram and dexa scan scheduled at 12:55. After checking in and sat down at 1pm, I realized that the dexa scan was scheduled for 12:55 and the mammogram at 1:25. I approached the front desk to asked if we need to check in for dexa scan because I think we have an appointment for that scan first, then mammogram. So far not good. I waited 30 minutes to make an appointment and then I was cut off! Ugg, calling again, however I'm not hopeful as it is after 4:30 when the day usually ends for staff.
Guess things are better than past reviews!!! I went for an ultrasound and getting an appt was easy just several weeks away. The day of my appt was so much better than Sharp facilities in LaMesa it was worth the drive. Parking was only a short walk away and ended up being free since they validated! They do have area you can drop some at yhe door but I was driving myself. The receptionist was friendly and signed me in. There should be a more efficient way of making an appointment… it’s 2025… Being placed on hold for long periods of time is archaic. The lady who ultimately answered the phone was nice.
While at Sharp pavilion for Out Patient Surgery, I had the opportunity to meet “Ava Braun” herself! Here she was disguised as an infusion nurse. This person, in my opinion, had no clue about what it was she was supposed to be doing, or she had not received the proper training for the position she held. She insisted on inserting an IV in one of my forearms! So, there I am, having to endure her bungling, attempt to find an accessible vein she only succeeded in brushing both arms to the point they turned black beyond belief. Al... read more
