I have been in so many hospitals not only in the us but all around the world, and I have never seen worst then this hospital. Even in poor countries the nurses are nice and they treat you as human. what a shame we have this hospital in the us. I really do not want even to remember my experience at this hospital, However if you are looking for a clean Emergency room, friendly staff, smart doctors, LOOK FOR A DIFFRENT PLACE THAN THIS DISASTER. Sincerely from a broken heart.
I got the best care ever! Anything I needed they were there to help. Staff was very kind. I even had a service dog come and spend time with me. Food wasn't all that great but what do you expect for hospital food.
Well my visit was very pleasant, very professional and I feel I got the care I needed! I was checked in and seen within 5 min, Everyone that tock care of me were incredibly kind and efficient! thank you! I was scared but you all made me feel better. I loved watching the video with awesome information! :-)
Excellent Hospital! Was there recently and treated very well! All I ever get from there is excellent care!
My husband had a bad fall so we 911'd him to the Grossmont ER. They did zero tests or scans or xrays related to the fall. They did do a chest xray and said he had pneumonia...lol. He was admitted for the so called pneumonia but that same day they claimed he doesn't have pneumonia. Needless to say he spent 1 week inpatient and no xrays or scans related to the horrific fall. Unbelievable, my sister was in so much pain in her kidney, and she waited for hours and hours. 3 hours and half out side and Over 8 hours with no dr. visit or any kind treatment . I understand that its maxed out and there is no room , but why they would have us wait too long hours instead of telling us that there is no room so we would try different hospital. Every one seemed carless. With all my respect I tell you that this is not acceptable.
If you are the only hospital in the area you should be the best not the worst. The physical pain that I had was nothing compering to the rude nurses and the staff.
My son got brought here via ambulance because it's the closest hospital to our home. He has Epilepsy and was in status epilepticus (a prolonged seizure that won't stop on its own), which is a medical emergency. The ER staff just let him seize for over an hour. They refused to administer rescue meds, even after Radys CHET team asked them to over the phone. I've never felt so helpless at a hospital, ever.
