Dr. Hame is a skilled surgeon and has great bedside manner. She is highly respected by her coworkers. I’m an adaptive athlete and we work together to formulate game plans to get me back to sport. My right shoulder suffered a torn labrum in 2017, and Dr. Hame performed a SLAP surgery on it in 2018. The procedure resulted in far worse pain and problems that would last a lifetime. After the procedure, three months later, I developed arthritis. I was never informed by Dr. Hame that arthritis may develop following surgery. My right shoulder didn't hurt when I raised it before my operation, but now it hurts so much that I can't even raise my arm. Dr. Hame has performed two surgeries, one knee and one arm. Both times full function was restored beyond my expectations, and I could not be more satisfied with the outcomes.
