I took my car in for an inspection and they claim my car is unsafe to drive and think I'm gullible to fall for their crap. My car passed inspection last year with flying colors and now I'm supposably leaking oil, which I've seen no sign of, rear brakes are frozen, drives smoothly to me. The amount was over 2500.00 before tax and labor. I'll never go back to them and I wish it was still Sharon Chevrolet.
Poor customer service!! April 29, 2026, I brought my 2019 Silverado to West Herr Chevrolet of Clay for replacement of a NOx sensor that had triggered the check engine light and to determine whether a coolant block-off plate replacement would be covered under my warranty. From the start, communication was poor. I explained to Tom, the service advisor, that there was no reading from the downstream NOx sensor and tried to explain the coolant block-off plate issue. Poor customer service. I spent the extra money to get the extended warranty and was told the service I needed would be denied due to rusting. I asked if they could still send a picture just to make sure it was denied. Tom in service refused to. This is the second time in less than six months they have had to be reminded that I have a warranty with Chevy. I recently purchased a car from West Herr Clay. It was a great experience. I worked with Michael Klein and he was extremely helpful. There was no rushing and he was available all the time from start to finish. He found me the perfect car I was looking for. Michael was extremely knowledgeable about the cars he was selling and I highly recommend this man for people looking for a no pressure salesperson with a lot of knowledge.
