The guy is a great surgeon but a poor doctor. Post operative pain management was totally unacceptable. My wife suffered terribly because this guy does a terrible job of pain management. The hospital where the surgery was done does not have a pain management department (southside) so you are left with the surgeon managing your pain and all surgeons are terrible at pain management. Great surgeon-terrible doctor. I will never deal with him or southside ever again.
Dr. Sharma's bedside manner and approach to patients is perfect. He made me feel completely at ease. I would recommend this doctor to anyone. You can tell he has a genuine love for his field.

Dr. Sharma has been an excellent physician for my hip problems. He is very caring and goes out of his way to make sure you are well educated about the procedure he is to perform. I would strongly recommend him to others that need Orthopedic Care.
Dr. Sharma's bedside manner and care was phenomenal! He was kind, helpful and provided you with all of the facts you would need for a successful recovery. He did not rush you out of the office, he took his time to answer any questions or concerns. He was respectful and actively listened to your concerns. He explained the process of surgery from prep, day of, the actual procedure and post-op. There were no questions left unanswered. He also returned my after hour call promptly the day of surgery.
i love this dr never had knee problems before he explained to me each process and made me comfortable with every step in the process; from first visit to surgery. he knows his profession very well.
It has been a pleasure to be treated by such a caring individual. I have been and will always recommend Dr. Sharma to anyone in need of orthopedic services.
Dr. Sharma is friendly, highly professional and very calming. He operated arthroscopically on my right shoulder to repair a rotator cuff injury and to address some arthritis. He did an excellent job on the surgery and recovery has been fast and with a minimum of discomfort. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing this type of orthopedic care. The office environment is modern and efficient and the staff are all helpful and polite. I can not think of a better experience for this surgery.
He performed surgery on my hip when I was taken to the ER. He is not a hip surgeon yet did it anyway! He also prescribed the wrong physical therapy which guaranteed that The procedure would fail. Subsequently, I went to a real hip surgeon and had my hip replaced. Sharma should have recused himself and sent me to a hip surgeon. Very bad experience.
