She didn't read my hcg results correctly, called me in for an emergency appointment while I was at work. She was too busy to listen as she was being called to the hospital. Instead of having another Dr look at results she suggested that I prepared for an abortion and she would put the orders in. When I looked at the hcg results and used a calculator, I realized she was wrong and I was trending correctly. She is supposed to be the expert and put in zero effort. Scared the daylights out of me and my family for zero reason.
Dr. Shipman will advise her staff to keep pumping Potosin (sp?) into her patients until it fits her schedule. I experienced this personally. BEWARE!
She truly is interested in your health and your life! I have depended on her for over 25 yrs!
She is a fabulous, knowledgeable and caring doctor, with the incredible bedside manner. I wouldn’t trade her for the world.
She is always bubbly and full of energy. Reviews my chart in advance for great conversation. Takes her time and I don’t feel rushed.
Always answers any questions I have and very thoughtful. Takes her time to explain anything I ask her without hesitation. Very nice and easy to talk to.
I really appreciate the time Dr. Shipman takes to discuss my health and concerns each time I visit. She is knowledgeable and often shares multiple possible solutions to choose from.
Dr. Shipman is always kind and ready to listen to any of your problems and to fix them.
I could not sing higher praises for Shipman! I felt so taken care of during my pregnancy, post partum, and now as part of regular medical care in my current season of life. She deeply cares about her patients and remembers an incredible amount given the number of patients she sees. She’s honest and relatable — two things not always a given!
