Dr. Refai is an exceptionally good psychiatrist. I've been receiving psychiatric care for over a decade. I saw several doctors over the years, but it felt like I wasn't being truly listened to until I started seeing him. He always ensures I'm comfortable with my treatment options and he goes above and beyond to treat my disorders, even though they tend to be treatment resistant. He is exceptionally knowledgeable in his field and offers great guidance. 10/10!
After experiencing counseling and treatment by a few different professionals, I can HONESTLY say the past 3 months have been life changing for me. Is NOT all about the medication, is also to feel that the person listening to you understand the struggle and looks into your best interest. You'll have to wait forever for an appt. Then he will show up late with zero communication that he will be late. If you happen to be frustrated by this he will come in aggressively and say "I am never going to be on time" and "if you can't handle that then I am not the right provided for you." You're right, you're not and while I didn't want to believe the negative reviews you proved them right.
