I have been a member for 5 years and there is no other gym I can see myself at. The staff is amazing and the trainers and instructors are so motivating! I love Shapes of Carrollwood!
Very disappointed this is my second membership at this location. Definitely not a good experience this go around. I have a family plan I am fully aware of my monthly payment however was NOT told of the "annual membership fee". My daughter was recently diagnosed with a debilitating disease of which I went into the location spoke to a young lady and asked how to cancel my membership. I asked to have the "owner" call me. I love working out with the instructors and members here and in Temple Terrace. They everyone is so upbeat and motivated.
When I signed up they neglected to tell me about their hidden maintenance fees which they are allowed to charge you without warning on top of your regular monthly fee. They never offered to show me around, how to use the machines. I paid for a special session with a trainer which i never got. They have signs saying do not hog the machines, yet some women just sit on them like they are chairs and chit-chat making you unable to use the machines, but none of the employees do anything about it. I love this place !! Always clean and the staff is very friendly
I am very happy with my experiences at Shapes at Carrollwood. I love the variety and intensity of classes that are offered, as well as, all the trainers, staff and group fitness instructors. It is a warm, welcoming and non intimidating environment for women to improve their fitness level.
