I love shapes. Great customer service. Awesome classes and trainers.
The classes...the instructors....the trainers.....the facility.... you name it! This place is impressive and makes the steps to getting fit just a little bit easier. I'm a huge fan and proud member!!!
UPDATED REVIEW: I am no longer a member at this gym due to new owners and the membership cost nearly doubling. This used to be an affordable small gym with great group classes. Now they have sold back to corporate and are pricing themselves as such. They are expanding nationwide as a company but the St Pete location does not compare to the LA Fitnesses of the world which have newer facilities, more equipment, and lower monthly fees. i love the aqua classes, lots of fun with the instructors! I am always greeted warmly when I arrive and usually when I leave. There are a lot of work out options here.
The classes, employees, and teachers are great. Its the management and their underhandedness that are awful. The hidden fees, changes in policies with no warnings or explanations. I won't bore you with details but they have already started to show themselves and I just became a member..........Think they need some competition with women only gyms out there. Spread the word to any women entrepreneurs you know. They wouldn't last if another opened that knew how to be real with people.
I used to love this gym. The instructors are very personal and knowledgeable, but it's gone downhill these last few years. They did have two half hour classes for Silver Sneakers, but have since shut down these classes and all Silver Sneaker memberships I, personally, don't take these specific programs but did so enjoy all the regular classes. I've been a member for 13 years and even bought a condo close by so I could walk to this gym. No more! This company has no concern for their older population.
