Absolutely Horrible. Chambersburg doesn’t answer the phone, email you back, nothing. Try to charge late fees on past late fees that are being paid (that’s illegal), they are just a Crooked company. Worst renting experience ever. The walls are paper thin, it’s very poorly insulated. The downstairs is 10 or 15 degrees colder than the upstairs. EVERYTHING is cheap, except for the rent. Shaool owns half or more of Hagerstown. They never fix anything just. Put a bandaid on the problems when repairing damages. They never take care of their tenants. In fact they avoid them. Once I had mushrooms growing within my walls from moisture caused by a leak in the bathroom it took them 2 years to do anything about it. They increase the rents but don't do anything for their tenants. Now every one of their units has to pay untilities. If you rent from Shaool do it at your own risk. Chambersburg pa apartments will make you feel as though you are sharing your apartment will everyone else in the building as you can literally hear everything they do. I can hear my upstairs neighbor whenever they walk, open and close cabinets and doors, having conversations in their room or when they are peeing…not the toilet flushing and draining but him actual peeing. You will literally hear every noise from people outside and in as they were standing right next to you.
Throw the whole company away. I applied a week ago , waited patiently and nobody even attempted to call me. I called in today and I was denied last week. Wow, how was I supposed to know ? Thankyou Arelen for giving me false hope . Maybe this is for the better , the Rent for these apartment is very High way too high. I am use to Living in Townhomes and single family house - and never have I paid rent as expensive as these low quality apartments.
