Updated - Aug 20 2026. I have been with Shane Deckle State Farm since back around 2011, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Even though I don't live in Athens anymore, they are totally worth keeping. Over the years I have had to work with them a few times due to faults from other drivers, and they have always taken great care of me. I wanted to share my recent experience with State Farm after having to file an insurance claim, from someone hitting my car in the parking lot. I spoke with Camille, she filed a claim on my behalf. In less than 30 minutes. I had a text from both enterprise rental car company and the autobody shop that I would be using. They allowed me to call them directly. The team at Shane's office is great. Only issue I have is that I have been waiting for approval for a windshield replacement for 14 days. I know it is out of their hands. This is a corporate issue. However, it should not take over 2 weeks to get a new windsheild. Shane's team did all they could and as of 8/5/2026 my windshield is replaced. The team walked me through the whole process calling and making sure all went well. I really appreciate Shane's office and the follow up. 5 stars
