I made reservations on a busy Friday night a few days before. Arrived early and was told our table would be ready around our reservation time. We're seated maybe 10 minutes past our reservation which to me was fine for a Friday night. Table was fantastic and Mary came over to apologize for the delay in seating and offered to take care of our appetizer, which wasn't needed like I said I didn't mind. Great admosphere! To celebrate 🎉 special occasio!
Service was extremely slow. Entree's were excellent, well worth the cost or $30+; however, the side dishes were so heavily salted they were almost inedible. For a high end steakhouse, I expected more personalized service and excellent food all around. We will not return and I would not recommend Shanahan's to others. Too expensive for the quality recieved
Staff is fantastic. Food for entire party with steaks were a little over cooked. For that kind of money I would have hoped for perfection. Oh well, the steak was absolutely tender and I ate every bit, but it was just one and a half level over cooked.
I had high expectations and was disappointed. We had a reservation and it was 20-30 minutes late (we went later in the evening to avoid crowds) and my $60 steak was super fatty and had a lot of gristle/tough spots. Service once we were seated was impeccable. Just wish I'd checked the rest of the steak before taking it home - would likely have sent it back. Atmosphere was nice.
Amazing!! Best steak I have ever had!! Shanahans is a class act!
