After five years of misdiagnosis and living with chronic pain in the UK I went to Dr. Shammas, a rheumatologist. After reviewing me she sent her blood work as she suspected I may have additional diagnosis Then I had initially been given in the UK. Dr Rania Sammas is awesome!!! I had gone through a year of at least 7 plus doctor appointments, everything from cardiology to my primary. Finally when I saw her all my blood work was normal except for one thing. It was the one little thing everyone had over looked except her!!! Within a month I had no pain. I knew what I was dealing with and the name to this disease everyone overlooked. Dr Shammas is great and can't say enough about how awesome she is.
Dr Shammas it's a great listener, she is always there whe I need here, she is very consider of my time, if need itshe does accommodate her schedule to same day visits, she is very dependable, compassionate, caring and she does always carry her self with the most utter professionalism!
This doctor now is in the Burbank Office. I am helping a family friend with her rheumatoid arthritis. The first visit went well. Blood tests were ordered, etc. Then the drug Humira was prescribed. After about two months she developed pneumonia and a sepsis infection requiring two stays in the UCLA Santa Monica hospital. A followup was scheduled with Dr. Shammas to evaluate treatment.
