We have been regular customers of Shame on the Moon for many years and have had several birthday celebrations there. Obviously we have been pleased with the food and service. However, I do have one comment which keeps me from giving the fifth star. They will not allow two couples to each have his/her own check. Dividing the check in half doesn't always work (especially if the alcoholic intake is way higher for one couple than the other). We arrived there around 7:00pm without reservations. We were seated right away the service and the food was excellent. We were glad we dined at your restaurant. Chef Mignon at Sky Valley Resort.
It's just a wonderful experience. From the warm greeting from Ginger, to the perfect pour martini from Johnny. The food is always first class and served in the same way. You feel like you are part of a private club.
We have been going to SOTM for years and years and we plan to keep going back. Ginger gives the warmest welcome and truly sets the tone for the night. Johnny makes the best cocktails and the entire staff is so extremely kind and attentive. You never feel rushed and the food is consistently very good, but it really is the vibe and the people that make the experience wonderful. It is always our "go to" restaurant! it!
Took my Mother-in-law there for early dinner and was impressed with everything: service, variety on menu, price and ambience. The food was excellent.
We dined with friends on Saturday night. Greeted by Ginger - check; Drinks - check; Excellent dinner - check; Great wait staff - check (thanks Gerry). Only some of the best things in life are free . . . . the others are worth paying for. This evening was "priceless!"
