Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. If you ask around the Austin scene about body mods, all roads will lead you here, and Pineapples name in particular. The jewelry collection is phenomenal, and based on what I saw, they keep new stock coming in pretty consistently. I came in with a problem with an older, existing piercing from another shop that suddenly started acting up. Professional, experienced and they use quality jewelry. The best piercers in Austin.
So far I’ve gotten my nostril, tragus, helix, and double forward helix pierced at Shaman. Every bit of each of the three experiences has been excellent - Danae (no longer at the studio) and Pineapple were professional and easy to work with, I trust that all of the instruments and jewelry have been sterilized and they double glove like surgeons, and all of the piercings look amazing and have healed beautifully. After thinking about it for over a year, I decided to get my first tattoo. I researched here and found Shaman Modifications, read all of the positive reviews, and read the artist bios, I saw Justin's portfolio and felt that his style would fit the idea that I had. Was after some dimple piercings for years. Went to Texas for work and heard of Pineapple in downtown Austin, called him and he advised me what the best kind of piercing would be etc, was friendly, professional and made me feel comfortable. Got dermals in my cheeks and nearly two years later they're still going strong � if I lived in the US I would get him to do all my body mods! Well worth the hour in a cab from where we were staying�� follow him online now and love seeing all his work!
