RecommendedLong anticipated, we finally made it to Shallots for our wedding anniversary. Both our server and busser were attentive and followed safe protocols.
Chef Justin, the sushi chef is incredible! I highly recommend the omakase; he prepared for us beautiful sashimi, nigiri, and rolls, all so fresh and delicious, top quality fish. Get the omakase!!
We were at an event fo 20+people. My lamb dish was rare as was one of the three slices of filet I received. Everything was delicious, including the avocado ice cream with the dessert!
There are two kosher fine dining experiences in Chicago. I prefer Shallots. Plenty of parking, excellent service, good wine list, and they know how to prepare a steak. Tonight, we celebrated my wife’s birth anniversary. She had avocado egg rolls and Dijon chicken. I had the Asian beef soup and a medium rare rib steak. For dessert, we split the chocolate pate. I also had a cocktail and coffee. We come here only once or twice a year, but always worthwhile.
