The rating is for the overnight stay at Shakers. The bar is very cool, food was awesome and the staff was friendly and entertaining, however, I do not recommend staying overnight. Stating that it is not a hotel room on the website is an understatement. The room was dusty and dirty and we didn’t even want to use the bathroom or the bed. We slept with our clothes on. best of MKE – dinner, company, cigars, its all quite wonderful. This fine establishment in the 4th Ward with an illustrious back story makes for a perfect evening out. Bobaloo will take good care of you, crafting a dinner to your liking, not even needing to ever look at a menu. The cigar smoke may turn off some, but that is what keeps this place intimate. love love love it!
