Dr. Gala and her team hands down are the very best Rheumatologist around ! Not only is she so smart and thorough, she truly cares about her patients in a way that is not common these days . I truly feel fortunate to be her patient ! I can’t say enough wonderful things about her .
Dr Gala is very knowledgeable and took the time to discuss my symptoms and help me better understand my labs. She was incredibly thoughtful and kind. I wish more doctors were like her.
I have been a patient of Dr. Gala’s since 2020, and she is hands down the best provider I have ever encountered. She came fully prepared, with a remarkable understanding of my health history—even more than I knew myself. She was familiar with my past visits and symptoms and had already developed a care plan tailored to my needs. I had to switch providers due to relocation, but if I am ever back in town, Dr. Gala will be the only doctor I want to see.
I was seen by Dr. Gala a few years ago for chronic pain and suspected arthritis. She misdiagnosed me and attributed my pain to weight and fibromyalgia, despite a vast family history of multiple forms of arthritis. Dr. Gala refused to test me for HLA-B27, a common indicator of AS. Over the following years I have had several medical complications because of this misdiagnosis and her refusal to properly administer tests. I am now seeing a new rheumatologist who tested me for HLA-B27 and gave me a proper diagnosis.
