Totally a rip off !! BE AWARE Be careful, these are bad people. Seems they have a habit of bullying people and making up lies to cover their aggressive sales tactics. This company tries to give the impression that they are a company owned/franchise operation in different cities whereas in reality they are a telephone/internet operation that uses independent not licensed local individuals/small companies that they parcel jobs out to complete. Trusted Carpet Cleaner I have been using Shaggys for almost 3 years now for our carpet cleaning and just wanted everyone to know that I have always received A+ service from them. A Great Carpet Cleaner! These guys did a great job!! I had been putting off getting my carpets cleaned for a while since we were in the middle of a long-winded remodel project. When we finally finished I had an awesome new kitchen, but the front family room carpets were a mess. I was concerned that we would need to invest now in replacing them and that was not in the budget. Shaggy's did a great job. I had the carpet in my entire house cleaned including areas soiled by my cats. Instead of a 3 or 4 hour time range, I was given a nice short 30 minute range and Dave (I'm pretty sure about the name) was right on time. He used black light to thoroughly search out areas that had been soiled by the cats, but also treated the whole room with deodorizer, just in case. Very disappointed with Shaggy's We had a Groupon for this company and it mentioned a particular advanced type of cleaning device that they would use for the service. They tried to charge me extra to use that. In addition, some of the carpet didn't come clean properly and when we called them, they didn't come back to fix these issues. We found this a very disappointing experience. They rope you in with the Groupon, and then try and sell you extra items on top of that. I would not recommend this company at all.

Great Carpet Cleaners! My dog recently broke into the dog food cabinet and ate about 10 cups of kibble and washed it down with about the same amount of water. There was no way her belly could hold all that, and the inevitable occurred in several places throughout the house - on white carpet in a lovely shade of burnt orange. Didnât show up on time and changed the price when they havenât even walked through the house to see my carpet and tiles. Yea I owned a big house, but donât mean you can rip me off! UNPROFESSIONAL CARPET CLEANERS - SCAM When I called to make an appointment, I explained everything that was supposed to be cleaned and the lady who took my information gave me my total $ 189.99 + tax (5 rooms & a stair way), when the cleaning guys came, they estimated the work for $ 400+ and after arguing and negotiating, they agreed on $ 256, I could cancel the appointment but since we all canceled our Sunday schedules we had no choice but to go ahead, they finished cleaning (the whole rooms, stairs) in 30 minutes and I cou... read more
