Horrible business- deceptive and unfair We took a TV in for an estimate and paid $25.00. They called several days later to tell us they couldn't repair it, but they had already done some work and if we wanted our TV back we needed to pay for work done without permission! The owner said it will cost us $75.00 more dollars to return the TV, and refused to show us the TV to see if any work had been done. Avoid at all costs This is the type of place that gives local businesses a bad name. Very deceptive in their practices on repairs. The televisions and other equipment for sale inside the store appears to be overpriced, and some of it just junk. Only go if you are looking to be deceived.

Shaffer TV Sales & Service is the BEST This company is the BEST. I brought in a 25 year old Sony TV in at 10AM and had it back home in perfect condition by noon. Total cost: $75. Other places in town wanted $250 just to look at it. Any repairs would have been on top of that amount. That old Sony was repaired about 2 years ago and it is still going strong.

Bumbling idiot The older man, Mr Shaffer, has no clue what he is doing. I would never tell anyone to bring their television to this shop, ever.

Need your TV repaired? This is a mom and pop business but we have been so pleased with their repair work. We have had a large TV worked on twice. It was an RCA that had this type of problem from the beginning of production. RCA was aware of the problem and lost a class action suit and we were able to be reimbursed for some of the cost of repair. It happened a second time and Mr. Shaffer was also able to repair it.
