Last year we had our wedding rehearsal at shadows and its was great! Nothing to complain about. This year we went to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary and it was AMAZING! The manager and staff did everything they could to make our day special! Champagne, flowers and linens on the table. We felt like royalty! Thank you so much for making our day a little extra special!
This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but after my experience on July 12th, I doubt I will be back. I had out of state guests and my 95 yr old mother in our party of 6. I had a reservation. We had a waiter take our drink order, but then that was the last we saw him. After 1/2 hour, I had to ask the manager to have someone take our order. Very good food! Very good service! Great ambiance! Love the view of the Hudson River! I am very disappointed with the fact that they stopped offering the Corn-beef sandwich on the lunch menu! I wish that they would reconsider! It was the best I have found in the Hudson Valley!

We went to Shadows tonight at 4;30...place was empty but we were told they weren't taking any walk-ins until 5:30...we were then told we could wait an hour and they would sit us....do they really think we would wait until they decided to sit us.....we left and went up the road yo River Station and we're seated without delay...had a wonderful ealing and great service. ...Shadows you missed the mark tonight....need to rethink how things are done. ...my husband spent a lot of money there last year for my 60th Birthday. ..not an... read more
