Not the place to have a large party. They were not able to handle it. Took 2 hours to get entrees on the table after the orders were given to wait staff.
I had my wedding lunch here and everything was beyond exceptional! The food was amazing and the service was excellent! No complaints at all, I would not hesitate to recommend Shadows for any event.
Wonderful Location Atmosphere and voew of the Hudson River, my prime rib was undercooked (rare) asked for medium rare, but they were quick to fix the cooks mistake, however the server wasnt exactly on the Ball as far as returning to table to make sure drinks were refilled or more orders were tAken care of but if i am ever in the Area again i would visit
The food is ok. It is nothing special and overpriced. I ordered a stuffed eggplant, they gave a half of eggplant with the stem still on it stuffed with some kind of vegetable thing. My wife could of cooked that in a few minutes. Dessert was on point though. Go to cosimos down the road instead. Shadows needs to change something. If they want to be high end, they need high end food.
The service was great as was most of the food. The fish was over cooked and the accompaniments on the fish were really bad.
This is a very special place for my family. Thank you for always accommodating us.
