They did repairs and painted our barn 7 years ago. The barn still looks great. We just received a new quote for some painting verandas, it is a very fair quote, this company does excellent work.
This is the first time I've splurged on letting someone else do my window treatments and it was a great decision. We love our Hunter Douglas top-down, bottom-up (kind of sounds like a crazy night in Key West with too much to drink!) shades. Emily is a straight shooter in the office and Jake couldn't have been nicer, but Wilson might be my favorite staff member of all. The windows look perfect now. This family-owned business did a super job for us in designing and selecting material and colors for a large-sized, multi-windowed room. Tim and Jake were patient, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Back in the main office, Emily was prompt and friendly in replying to our inquiries. We highly recommend Shades of Distinction . . . . they go out of their way to support their customers !!!
Shades of Distinction sells awful blinds. The ones we have Oeanview are suppose to have a lifetime warranty. They are total pieces of junks. They don't close tight and allow light in. Cords are falling apart after a few month. Shades are way too heavy for large windows and are now bowing. Don't buy form them!
