# 1 BLT One of my favorite places in town. They have the best BLT's ever. I crave their sandwich at least once a month. When I just had my daughter my husband brought me one of their BLT's. Sometimes the service can be slow but it is worth the wait. You can get some good mixed drinks there too and it is nice to sit on their patio and watch the beach goers and sip your drinks.
Best French Toast! Shades has such excellent choices for both breakfast and lunch/dinner it is really hard to choose if you come mid-day on the weekend. For breakfast, the french toast is pretty incredible, but the bacon, AVOCADO, lettuce, tomato (or BALT) is pretty hard to beat. They have really good lobster bisque too! Their wine selection is pretty limited, but they have plenty of beer choices and have cocktails too. The servers are always friendly and the food comes out fairly quick, even on the weekends
Great Place to relax and enjoy a great meal Service can be slow so make sure you have plenty of time. But the food is great. I love the portabello mushroom burger with sweet potato fries. However, everything I've eaten at Shades has been great. the atmosphere is relaxing and the service is friendly. If you have the time go to Shades and relax.
Bloody Mary & Breakfast...MMM Great Bloody Mary's, great breakfast spot right on the beach in OB. Its the perfect place to take out of town guests for breakfast. They have great afternoon cocktails and specials. We've watched the sunset at Shades with a cold beer, what a great end to the day.
