One of my first goals after moving to York last August was to find a good salon. I can finally check that off of my list after 13 months and several disappointing hair cuts later. Dedee was so sweet and instantly made me feel as if I had been her client for years. Thank you for an amazing hair cut and brow wax! I am already looking forward to my next appointment!

Went out of my comfort zone yesterday and tried someone new for my nails and I must say I'm impressed. Not only was I able to have a conversation and understand what was being said but also did not have my fingers burnt from the grinding nor have to shake off dust for an hour after! Thanks you Shari Becker-Dunlap or convenienceing me to go to your salon and thank you Brianna Jones for getting me beach ready! You did awesome everyone needs to try out the girls at Shades.
So I took my daughter here twice, and even gave them the color to use, damaged her hair to the point where no other salon will touch it and still wasn't right. I'm now spending literally hundreds of dollars to get her hair back in shape. I thought the first time was a miscommunication.
I love, love, love the staff at Shades! They are top notch and always do a wonderful job! They are like family!!!

Cat Howard did an amazing job cutting my hair and making sure I knew how to style it afterwards. As a guy that rarely gets "fashionable" haircuts, this made a huge difference. Found my new permanent hairstylist!!!
