TLDR: installation good, service expensive and/or non-existent. Initially the installation and team was great. But then the shade malfunctioned a year in and it cost $250 to get someone to fix it. Then the charging prongs of another shade, which was broken on installation, made it impossible to recharge, and therefore we can't move the shade. We had two large awnings installed by Shades by Design several years ago, and the experience was so good that we recently worked with them again when we needed to temporarily unmount and then remount the awnings due to construction work. From start to finish, they are extremely professional. I had a great experience with Shades by Design. Hanna was super knowledgeable, responsive and easy to work with. The install was smooth and Pedro was a perfectionist, making sure everything was exactly as designed. They left my house pristine. Most importantly, I absolutely love the final product. I never imagined how much window treatments can transform and complete a space.
Wonderful experience. Both Hannah and Jennifer were a pleasure to deal with. Verry professional.
