One of the employees was extremely nice and professional, that's the only thing that deserves the 1 star.. I had my nails done here and 2 of them lifted within a week and a half. I work full time every day down town, so by the time I leave and come back they are closed but managed to go in within the 2 weeks range and they said they are too busy and that they can glue it for me for now and it should last. I am a regular at Shades Beauty Lounge and cannot say enough about how fantastic they are! They are always accommodating with my countless requests including finding me appointments last minute :) While I have had services from many of the techs, my go-to is Nicki. She is fabulous! Understands my particularities very well and goes above and beyond at every opportunity. Example: I have an allergy to shellac and she is constantly exploring polish alternatives for me. I went there today to get a pedicure, and the staff member who was taking care of me was very kind. However, near the end of the service, while I was still getting my pedicure done, someone named Nikki who was sitting at the reception asked if I could pay first. I said okay, but then she asked me what percentage tip I was going to leave. I told her I would enter it myself, but she responded quite rudely and told me to stop my pedicure and pay right then.
