Dr. Barron is the best! He’s thoughtful and truly cares about his patients.
Dr. Smith took care of all my animals after a bad experience with another vet in town. Last year, Dr. Barron took care of my older pal Duece. Going from something is wrong to cancer, he walked me through every step. He researched, called colleagues,and called me. He was there to the very end. He always made me feel that my junkyard dog was as special as I felt he was. Now he is seeing my new dog.
I have used Dr. Barron's from the day he joined Shackleford Road Veterinary Clinic with Earl Smith. Dr. Barron's saved my Maltese who had been shaken like a dish mop by another dog. She had multiple puncture wounds on her face, head and neck. It was after hours, he met me and worked fast & hard to stabilize her. Her jaw was broken, she'd lost some teeth, but she survived this ordeal. Had an appointment for annual shots for my sweet Buttercup a Toy Dachshund and it went fast. Great Team! I would highly recommend Shackleford Veterinary Clinic to everybody!
I had a pretty sick kitty and after multiple appointments, tests, X-rays, various vague explanations and quite a lot of money at another vet in town, I had zero answers and my cat wasn’t getting any better. I brought her to SRVC for a second opinion. Within about 7 minutes Dr. Barron diagnosed her with urinary crystals, even brought me in the back to let me look at the slide in the microscope.
