We came from Wyoming to the race in Talladega. I searched online for local BBQ and The Shack popped up. I loved the pictures of the outside so we decided to go. Great BBQ, sweet tea and pecan pie!!! The hospitality was great as well!!! If we ever come back to this part of the country The Shack will be are first stop!!!
I LOVE THEIR FOOD!! BEEN EATING THERE SINCE THE LATE 80s.. THEIR FOOD NEVER FAILS! ! I LOVE THE HUGE BBQ SANDWICHES.. I LIKE INSIDE CHOPPED... AND AWESOME SIDES!! ONION RINGS! ! KEEP ON SMOKIN THEM PIGS!!!
Best bbq Ive ever had! Went on a road trip cross country from Boston, my friend and I was blessed to be in the presence of Mike the amazing owner who served us the most delicious pork ribs Ive ever had. Coolest guy ever. You can tell he loves his business, prices were great portions were huge. Id drive another 18 hours to come back just to eat there again.
I've been eating at The Shack for many years! I was recently back in town visiting family and was able to take my native Texan husband there to eat. He loved it!!
