Honestly. Shannon is the best. Not only has she helped me heal from years of trauma and pain, but she's also helped me get to know myself again. I went from thinking I would be "sick" for life and not liking myself, to healed and filled with so much self love. Shannon is so good at giving a nudge without it feeling pushy. Dr. Shannon has always been a true professional in her attempts to help me process abuse and trauma. It definitely is not always comfortable and sometimes those around wish I was still the person I was before I started therapy - but that doesn’t mean I’m not better off and more mentally healthy now. It seems to me that for the people who complain the loudest, I was just “easier to deal with” when I didn’t have boundaries.

Dr. Goecke-Watson is a go-to referral for trauma treatment. She is exceptionally knowledgeable and numerous clients I have sent to her for CPT or her Domestic Violence group have come back reporting significant reduction in trauma symptoms. She is a psychologist who is truly passionate about the work she does and is an incredible advocate for her clients. Highly recommend!
