We have been doing business with Sew and Vac for the past 20 plus years. We can not say enough about what a fine establishment Sew and Vac is to do business with. From buying new equipment to their service, there is no place better. I wish every business operated with the same service and integrity that Bob and his staff provides to their customers. The only reason I am giving Sew and Vac 5 stars is because I can not chose 10. Anyone looking for a new sewing machine, vacuum or just great repair THIS IS THE PLACE !!!!

Business response:

Thank you for the review Dominick!

I asked them to do some work on a 1920s Singer. They said they could do it. They had it in their shop twice and told me it was fine but I don’t think they even opened it up either time. The motor was binding and the wiring was down to bare copper. They never told me about either problem and I had been using the machine based on their statements. I’ve also been having trouble with a 1980s Kenmore which they also told me was fine but had tension problems, which a friend of mine diagnosed and fixed within five minutes of sittin... read more

We are sorry to hear you are having an issue with your machine. When we last saw you in August we were under the impression the bind in the motor bushing was resolved, and the wire insulation was intact and pliable. All of our work includes a 90 day wa…See More

Last week I went to Sew and Vac to have them check out the vacuum as to why it wasn't working properly. I thought it had a clog, but didn't know how to clear it. The guy there not only cleared the clog while I waited (it was very quick), but he showed me how to clear clogs myself and he cleaned off the outside of my machine since it was so dusty from the clog. That all cost me a whopping $6.50. We have been customers of Sew and Vac for years and have always had excellent service. Next time you need a vacuum fixed or are purc... read more

I've been very pleased with this family owned company for many years. Their repairs are done promptly. I've been able to get really great deals on sewing machines, accessories, fabric, etc. My sewing instructor, Debbie, is so knowledgeable about all the machines, sewing techniques, etc, makes it easier to learn and makes it fun. Bob, Sue and their son, Kevin, are a great team who make it all work!
