Really like this place I have been going here for about 3 years now. I now live in North County and still make the trip down. Only once did my pant hem end up too short and they fixed it, no problem. But it was because I didn't try them on first. My fault. I tell her exactly how I want them and it is done that way. I also get the original hem in place so they look fresh from the store! And the prices are the best around that I have found.
Sew Elegant We had just transferred back to San Diego and living in temporary housing nearby. I was invited to be an attendant for my brother's wedding and unfortunately these bridesmaid dresses are always two sizes too BIG. I connected with the owner and she said sure we can remake for you. I have to say I was a little spectacle and with a $300.00 dress and now it's be altered. I could have not ask for anyone better. You would have never known she took 3 inches off and I felt like a queen for the day.
hemming Fast service. I've been going here for all my pant hemming needs. They do a good job. Never had a problem. Liked my hemmed pants every time. They also charge a low price. Just make sure you keep your receipt to make sure they can locate your items. I almost forgot once.
horrible experience! Horrible experience! My daughters prom dress was coming undone, top part starting sagging, slit way TOO high! Was done longer then what they told us-when we kept going in she was busy with other people besides us, not concentrating in taking care of my daughters needs. Horrible job, it was sad to see my daughter so unhappy on her prom day, she had to wear it longer then trying it on to get the real feel of the gown...seem started to also pull in back, sides. Terribly! will NEVER go there let alone refer ... read more
Don't take your slacks here! I had 3 pairs of slacks to hem and they're all too short! I even knew before hand that they had a slight tendency to hem too much and I asked for them all to be a little bit longer. Still, they came out to be 1-2 inches too short. HUGE disappointment. They have have decent prices but if you want your pants perfect the first time, go some place else and pay a little more
