Cute restaurant, but the Food was not good. I had the tacos and the rest of our table ordered sandwiches which were not good as well. My fish was undercooked, didn't come with any kind of sauce or seasonings- our service was extremely slow, arrived for dinner at 8:40 pm and they had about a handful of other people in the entire restaurant. Hopefully, the owners review what the customers say so they can fix the issues. Very over priced for the value you receive.
A friend and I stopped by one evening for dinner. Although the bartender/waitress was nice, and the ambiance was pleasant the food was not all that great. The buffalo wings were hard, and somewhat cold in the center. The melted cheese on my fries was tasty, yet the fries were limp, and soooo oily. My friends chips were burndt and had no flavor.
We have been wanting to try this place for awhile since we live right around the corner, but this experience was so extremely mediocre there’s no reason we’d ever come back. We were seated right away on a Friday night (despite the host giving us some heat for not making a reservation). This food was not bad, but it took an extremely long time to come out. The fish and chips are awesome. Well fried fish...not greasy at all. Bartenders make a very good martini.
If this is in the “Social” family, namely “Eat Street” and “NE,” it’s a poor cousin. Uneven service. Out of menu strip steak and vanilla ice cream on a Saturday night. Poutine incredibly salty. Not my fav.
Great food and great service. Popovers were a real treat. Will be back!
