⭐ 1 Star Misleading Listing + Unethical Application Fee My daughter applied to 17th Street Apartments based on their listing for a furnished unit — something they clearly do not actually offer. After applying, she was charged a $140 non-refundable application fee only to find out that the apartment listed doesn’t exist as advertised. The lack of 5/6 month lease options is unreasonable, especially given the proximity to WSU campus and its target demographic of students. For those graduating in the fall not being able to accommodate shorter leases feels like a slap in the face. It’s illogical not to offer more flexible lease terms.
Seventeenth is a great place to live! The complex looks very appealing and each room has great utilities. It has a nice common area, great living space, and the people who work there are very nice and very understanding. If you need help, they are always very positive and willing to help out with any issue. I would definitely recommend this to a college student who wants to live near campus! 10/10!
Been living here for 3 years and it has been nothing short of incredible. They have great amenities, my favorite being the gym I can use in the morning. It’s in a perfect location in Wichita to be able to get to anywhere on the East Side or Downtown quickly. You won’t regret staying here.
