Food was great and staff very friendly!
Great breakfast. Chicken fried steak was great. Homemade jelly was fabulous.
Stopped here for breakfast on the way to IL from AZ. Decorated nicely with Amish furnishings including buggy canopies over some of the booths, service was prompt & good, food was good, prices were reasonable, and the coffee was good as well. Looked like the homemade cinnamon rolls were huge but I ordered 1/2 order of biscuits & gravy, very good and more than enough.
You'll be MORE than pleased with the new chef here! Great restaurant!!
I planned a surprise party for my wife at Seven Villages. I live an hour and a half away but the Iowa city area is half way between a lot of our family members. The staff was extremely helpful making arrangements over the phone, the food was great and wait staff was top notch! We'll be going back soon!
The food was good, the waitress was really nice. The employees having a loud conversation and the radio playing from the kitchen made me feel I was in the kitchen with them. Ceiling tiles missing in the dining room with a worn out looking decor. Was disappointing as from remembering how it used to be stopping here as a kid. But the food was good.
The Cole slaw was awesome ! The cottage cheese tasted really good , and the rueben sandwich was great. The German potato salad was OK but not what I had expected it to be.
Very sad food. The pie was not homemade. The cottage cheese was ok. Mashed potatoes may have been fresh.
Had the Kraut Burger today! Holy Cow! Incredible burger!
