Pricing is on the higher side. After today’s appointment very dissatisfied, especially because flea and tick medicine was put on my cat without permission. Asking would have been preferred before doing so, because now I will have to keep my cat in her crate to keep her separated from my 1 y-old, who loves playing with her furry playmate. First round of vaccines have now been denied twice, $400 later. Lack of transparency, would not recommend.

Thank you for the critique. We are sorry to hear you are disappointed with our gold standard care. The flea and tick prevention was applied in the presence of your wife as a demonstration. She did not object to the demonstration. The flea and tick prevention applied also prevents against ear mites. Your kitten had such a severe infestation of ear mites at the initial appointment that vaccines were not given. Today your kitten still had a severe ear infection. We provided excellent care for your pet. Your pet required emergency surgery on Friday which you declined. We squeezed her in yesterday (Monday) despite a full surgical schedule in an attempt to save her life as her condition had become even more dire. To do this we canceled other surgical procedures which were scheduled weeks prior. Your pet's bloodwork was critical as we discussed with you prior to her surgery. I am not complaining of quality, because I do think the vet is extremely thorough and qualified in what she/they do. My only complaint was price. My older lab has worsening skin issues and this place was right up the road, so I figured why not bring her here. After spending ~$370 on just the check up and meds alone (consisting of a cone, saline solution for ears, bathing cleanser and 14 day antibiotics), I couldn't afford the necessary blood, urine or skin sample for the clinic to figure out what the deeper-rooted issue was.... read more

This veterinary hospital is amazing ... I own a very complicated Newfoundland with many health issues, Dr Diehl has put many hours and work to help ease the pain and cure what a well known specialty clinic in Philadelphia could not. The vet tech Jess has a heart of gold and has an amazing bond with animals. Kelly who manages a very busy front desk will manage your needs with amazing speed and cares as deeply as the rest of the staff.
