I am not from the Shasta area so I can imagine there must be a reason for the policy, but it would have been nice to be able to refill my regular nothing special cup of coffee free like I do at every other restaurant I have ever eaten at. Great location, awesome food, was there with amazing people, relatively fast service, so overall I liked the café.
This independent coffee shop has local charm and great coffee. Stop by if you can.
The place was crowded. Food was wonderfully great. Drove up in our 32Roadster and stopped there for breakfast. The waitress had a situation where a man came in with a dog and kept it under his arm while eating. Another man came close and the dog barked so loud,I almost spilled my coffee. She ask him very nicely that he couldn't bring the dog in. The owner would not allow it. All the other dogs were outside with owners. She was very polite, but he was mad. Said he would complain.
