Best bird park in Tennessee. Many additional functions often, including Sturgeon Fest lake sturgeon releases, birding and bird-banding events, mussel and other fish releases. Excellent paddler river access! Lots of hiking trails!

The upgrades are great, the parking is limited. Everytime I've been here, it's been pretty kept up and clean.
Is the boat launch suitable for a 2wd truck to launch a 23’ pontoon boat? Is the ramp very steep or slippery? Thanks.
So easy to get in the water, perfect for paddleboarding, Sunday am i got there ten minutes before 7am, and soon after the parking lot was 3/4 full. I went right towards the park and had to turn around soon after the bridge it was too shallow. I will try going left next time. But it was perfect water to paddleboard, very quiet, saw fish near top of water, two people fishing, and on the way back a homeowner saw me and waved good morning, I will definitely go back but maybe at least 20 minutes earlier, then drove to park for a ... read more
