Went to this doctor for the first time yesterday for my 5 year old daughter. She was very scared but he took the time to talk to her and made her feel more comfortable. He was very patient and made sure I understood everything. My daughter later that day said “hey mom, you should give my picture I just painted to my doctor since he asked if I was a good artist”. After seeing multiple doctors without getting answers, Dr. Iskowitz was finally able to give our child a diagnosis, and we cannot express the relief and gratitude we felt. My family’s experience was not pleasant with this provider. My concerns were swept under the rug regarding my child’s health. My child was prescribed Lactulose after having noted in his chart that he was to avoid all milk products for milk allergy. Dr Iskowitz then tried to tell me that the lactose in Lactulose would not cause issues for my child and told me he did not have an allergy to milk without even requesting further testing to confirm whether or not that was true. Dr. Iskowitz if by far the best Pediatric GI there is! We have seen 4 other doctors and he is the absolute best. We drive an hour to Henry Ford just so our son can be seen by him. He is caring, compassionate, understanding, and truly cares. He takes time with all his patients ans we never have to wait!
