After seeing multiple doctors without getting answers, Dr. Iskowitz was finally able to give our child a diagnosis, and we cannot express the relief and gratitude we felt. My family’s experience was not pleasant with this provider. My concerns were swept under the rug regarding my child’s health. My child was prescribed Lactulose after having noted in his chart that he was to avoid all milk products for milk allergy. Dr Iskowitz then tried to tell me that the lactose in Lactulose would not cause issues for my child and told me he did not have an allergy to milk without even requesting further testing to confirm whether or not that was true. Dr. Iskowitz if by far the best Pediatric GI there is! We have seen 4 other doctors and he is the absolute best. We drive an hour to Henry Ford just so our son can be seen by him. He is caring, compassionate, understanding, and truly cares. He takes time with all his patients ans we never have to wait!
For being a provider for children, he seemed very rude. He told my child multiple times to “dude stop coughing on me” and my child wasn’t even close to the provider. He then said “dude stop coughing on me I have other kids to see all day”. He left the room and got a mask. He should’ve came in with a mask in the first place if he felt that passionate about it. It just wasn’t professional or necessary. I canceled future appts with this provider. I’d give a 0 star if I could.
