Reviewed my tests and X-rays, listened to my symptoms and came up with a positive treatment plan . Contacted another involved in my care for a consensus.
Dr Gottlieb is a great person. I went to him for a second opinion. He made me feel relaxed. He agreed with the other doctor. He asked me to call him when the results of the first test are in so he can give me his opinion. He let me what you have his common but it is nothing to worry about.
I recently recovered from a long bout of COVID and then pneumonia. Dr. Gottlieb always made time for me, including by phone and zoom when I could not come to his office, and I was, and am, so grateful for his expertise, guidance and care during that difficult time. This office visit was a follow-up, at which Dr. Gottlieb reviewed my scans with me, made a stethoscopic exam, answered my questions, and provided his recommendations going forward. I cannot imagine a better physician for my pulmonological issues than Dr. Gottlieb.... read more
I have been seeing Dr Gottlieb for about three years for Pulmonary Health, mainly for controling my asthma. Dr Gottlieb always remember who I am and my health issues and he pays close attention to my answers to his questions regarding how my breathing has been and how I have been feeling in order to regulate my medication.
5-minute visit on February 4, 2024 and I have not been able to get the CT scan or medication as of today march 29 I am under the impression that depending on the insurance you have or $$$ they can get from it, that is the real motivation for this office staff.
I have been seeing Dr. Gottlieb for over 20 years. He is extremely competent and highly skilled. He is conservative in his approach and is very pro-active. I could not recommend him more highly. His staff is competent and courteous.
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Gottlieb. I consider myself very fortunate to be under his care. He is patient, kind, and good humored. And frighteningly smart! I have complete confidence in his medical skill and expertise. The office is clean; staff is pleasant and professional. Wait time is usually minimal. Parking at the Mt. Sinai complex is easy (but not free). I have referred a number of close friends to this practice.
Dr. Gottlieb reassures with his mastery of pulmonology. Combine his breadth of knowledge with his ability to listen, his care for the welfare of his patients, his warmth and sense of humor and one has in a doctor all the qualities one hopes to have in their health care professional. A great doctor, a true mensch.
Dr Gottlieb staff prepared me, he asked me how I felt what was my concern then checked me medically. Then we went to his office where he carefully reviewed my ct scan, discussed it with me explaining it and his assessment, read the report to ensure he did not miss anything. Then he discussed treatment options, meds and his recommendations. He set next visit and his staff scheduled tests. He even demonstrated how to use the inhaler device. He is truly a great doctor and wonderful person. .
