We are currently having the worst service ever and will not return. Our server, Jenna, lost our first drink order and even after asking for our drinks it took speaking to a manager, who was talking to a friend at the bar, 20 minutes for our beers to arrive. My second beer took another 7 minutes as the server stood at the drink tower talking. When I told her we weren't happy she was uppity. No tip and will not return! And...it sucks because we support local and need food places on the east side!
I’ve been going to Jacks for years, never have I been disappointed by the staff or amusements! They have seasonal menus, daily and weekly specials, LARGE TVs and an out door area for game intermissions. Jacks also has fundraisers, as well as karaoke a few times a year.
I LOVE SET 'EM UP!!! They have the best burgers in lawrence! Come on a monday and you can get a burger combo for around $4-$5... that includes fries...way cheaper than a combo meal at someplace like McDonalds and you get quality real meat! Their fries are crispy and seem to be battered perfectly.
