My Surgery was in April of 2012. Had a brain abscess. Was scared, until I spoke with Dr. Set. He performed a 5 hour or so surgery on me. Saved my eyesight and possibly my life. His bedside manner was relaxing and reassuring for me.

I had an ACF done by Dr. Shahbabian almost 20 years ago. He was one of the nicest doctors I've ever met and I have met a ton of doctors since I am a nurse. As soon as I woke up from surgery my neck was not hurting in the least although my hip (where he took bone from) did for 3 weeks (which is normal). After the healing process, I have not had any problem at all with my neck. He is the best doctor, and if I had to do it all over again, I would do it in a heartbeat.

Dr Shahbabian did my surgery over 10 years ago, no problems since. He has the best bedside manners I have ever experience with any doctors, Very caring and spend as much time as you need. I would highly recommend him to others

The best reviews are the ones that happen after all the data is in. I had surgery with Dr. Shahbabian more than ten years ago and I am still having no problems whatsoever with my neck after the fusion. I am grateful.

Saved my mother's life. Can't begin to express my gratitude towards Dr. Shahbabian and his staff. Fortunately for her, Set was at Good Sam after a tough accident. Incredible follow up and took tons of time to help my mom and out whole family.

I have not had the surgery yet...I have been to Beacon, Christ spine center, Mayfield and Saturday morning I met this doctor. I felt like he was a warm, caring long time friend. He did not have an assistant do a work up. He personally spent 45 minutes checking out my toes, feet, hands, hips, my walk, my head, my neck, questions...he was on his knees checking my reflexes!! No doctor in 20 years has done this. It showed me his level of care. He will be doing my surgery! I love this doctor

I would not be walking today if Dr. Shahbabian did not perform back surgery on me over 14 years ago. My disc had almost severed my spinal cord and Dr Shahbabian found the problem after years of a dr telling me it was just a sprain/strain.

He was the Supervising doctor in my surgery, I was in ICU for 15 days afterwards, as the training doctor that he let perform all or most of my surgery on 2 vertabrae and the disc between them was a bust. I had a bad accident, was rushed to the nearest ER and told I was being admitted for emergency surgery. No questions, they just told me this, and I pretty much in shock and lightheaded from painkillers was not really given a choice and I didn't object at that point because of the language they were using.
