With the wet weather over the last 8 months, we have had to reschedule a lot of appointments as working on or inspecting septic systems in the rain and very wet conditions is difficult at best. Admittedly I was disappointed that after a very informative call to SES and a setting up of appointment for repair that the technician did not show. The technician called a couple hours after I requested refund of a down payment for the repair and apologized for the inconvenience, offering to show early on the next morning. As the repair had gone weeks waiting on another company which never completed their follow up, I decided to trust SES to complete the job. SES is committed to only having properly licensed journeyman or master operators on site to complete maintenance and repairs regulated by the Virginia Department of Health and all local health departments. Do NOT use this company unless you absolutely have to. We paid them thousands of dollars to completely replace our septic system. They received this payment toward the end of April; it is now August and they have yet to even break ground on the project. I have reached out to them numerous times and rarely receive a response. The last correspondence I received was a one sentence email, over two weeks ago saying that they were finally submitting our paperwork to the county using the info we provided in April. I was selling my house and needed the well and septic system inspected. Within 2 weeks of signing the contract the inspectors came. Mike went above and beyond his commitment to help out. He spent extra time explaining the systems to the new buyer. I also had a very old well control panel which needed some repairs. Mike made several trips to my house to find the right parts to fix the needed repairs. The workers filled in all of the holes that were dug up and cleaned up after the work was done. DONT DO BUSINESS WITHTHIS COMPANY!!! Hired for new home pump and inspection. The company tried to bill me for services they did not perform, inspecting items on my septic system that did not even exist. The magner Greg was incredibly rude and unprofessional and started yelling and talking over me when I called to try and discuss the matter.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They never respond to clients or their agents, their reports are inaccurate to say the least and it took 2 weeks to get this report that misrepresented the necessary repairs. I will never recommend this company. Rick Cox is the worst inspector I have ever encountered in my 15 years of doing business in this field.
