My AC unit leaked and got under the wood flooring and I wasn't sure what to do. ServiceMaster was sent out to my house by the AC company, and they were great. He kept me calm and explained the process and then even continued to follow up and pester my insurance agent so he could get approval for the mitigation. My washer tub broke while in use and I experienced a water leak in which I could not handle by myself. I was so distraught about the situation, and after searching for a water restoration service to take care of the issue, I contacted ServiceMaster. Hire your own plumbers. A burst pipe that was under my kitchen floor was not fixed by people they hired and as a result, my full kitchen remodel wasn't even able to make it 2 months before I had demo again. Fortunately the cabinets that were replaced took forever and were installed so low I couldn't fit my fridge without modifications But at least my countertops took twice as long and were "not being manufactured" despite being offered to me by a rep. Shawn Wood was an amazing contractor to work with. We had to re-build our kitchen due to a pipe leak and Shawn was extremely helpful. He knows how to work well with insurance companies and this was crucial. He was always cheerful and happy to help no matter what monkey wrenches our home (or, we) threw his way.
