As a long time member of PCSECR, I wondered if I would be as happy with the merged credit union. I needn't have feared. Serve Credit Union has friendly, efficient service from well trained, caring employees. I enjoy knowing that anytime I call, I will get a local person on the phone who has never failed to help me. They really have customer service perfected!
I wanted to bank with an institution that would look beyond the number on my credit score and really see me as I am, a hard-working responsible person earning a good wage and whom they will take a chance on and provide credit to, seeing that I am conscientious and consistent in my decision making. I also like the thought of being a member of this financial entity that allows us, its members, to have a say in the processes which effects the credit union itself as well as the members, i.e. voting on board members.
I absolutely love banking at Serve Credit Union (regardless of what the name is)! I have lived out of state for a few years now and primarily have to use the shared branch feature, but it is always a treat when I get to talk to someone from my home credit union. My issues are always handled quickly, professionally, and with a friendly attitude. I could move halfway around the world and would never give up my account here!
I have enjoyed many years with Dmpo-cu. Please do not change the name. We shouldn't be ashamed of the name we have and hide behind a new one. "Serve" does not reflect who this credit union is supposed to benefit. That has been and always should be our officers. My rating would reflect higher, had you put out any information regarding the name change or asked members their opinion. I am disappointed that this name change was even suggested, much less decided on by our board of directors. This is not a time to hide behind vagu... read more
